Teams created using clinical site groupings. These groupings are already built with consideration to team dynamics. Groups compose a variety of academic strengths and weaknesses but pair well interpersonally. They presently work effectively in clinical as a team to accomplish the tasks related to patient care.

All classroom generated materials will be provided in electronic format to make information and materials more accessible. Students may utilize read & write a google chrome extension that reads and highlights text (helpful for dyslexia, ELL, and students with ADD)

ELL students are provided with links to translation software that can be used with documents and websites provided in electronic format. See instructor resources by unit section one.

Differentiated instruction is demonstrated by providing alternatives for deliverables (especially written documents). Students are given the choice of submitting VoiceThreads, Videos, Infographics highlighted below.

Units contain links to websites that provide a variety of informational resources that include written, video and visual materials.

Learning Logs, mid-semester teamwork evaluations, and deliverables are used to ensure students are learning and as an instructor checkpoint tools to evaluate where they are at and provide remediation if necessary. Additional time is built into the project timeline to accommodate these needs. Student reflections can be answered by students via text, audio recording, or video recording in their learning log entries.
